It was time for change at Maiden Beech as they made the leap into becoming an academy. Part of this transition was to give them a fresh now look which was timed to work with the release of the new prospectus. The logo was to be used on school uniform, website, print and signage so needed to have impact across various sizes and media.
The first order of business was to approach the logo design, include a beech tree, that one was a given straight off the bat. Having a session with the lead at Maiden Beech resulted lot’s of sketches which were leaning towards using the tree to symbolise growth through education. After sharing these for review we settled on the tree growing out of the book. We carried this energy through into the prospectus design using the leaves from the tree to add movement throughout the pages.
The beginning of a new chapter for a fantastic school, the same great school with a new fresh look and a prospects to help communicate just how damn great they are to the new generation of students.
